What are GSI rewards

The GSI rewards are the distribution of GSI Coin to Master Node owners as a reward for supporting the GarageSaleIt project.

Refer to Tokenomics for further information on the quantity and distribution of GSI rewards.

Guide to Claiming rewards

Note: Claiming rewards requires the processing and allocation of the rewards from the blockchain to your Account. Each reward claim process will require the payment of a small gas (transaction) fee.

Note: Ensure your Wallet has AVAX to pay the small transaction fee. For instructions to add AVAX to your wallet, refer here.

Step 1

• Navigate to the GarageSaleIt Node website by Clicking Here

Step 2: Connect Your Metamask wallet to the GarageSaleIt DApp

• Click on the Connect Button

Step 3: Add the GSI Token to your Wallet

Note: Adding the token to your wallet is only required once. It allows Metamask to show your reward balance in your wallet

• Click the ‘+ Add token to Wallet’ button

• GSI Coin will now appear in your Metamask wallet under ‘Tokens’

Step 4: Claim Your Rewards

• In the ‘My Account’ section, click ‘Claim Rewards’

• If required, confirm the change to the AVAX network

• Approve Metamask’s request to confirm your reward claim

• Await confirmation of successful claim

Confirm the claiming of Rewards

• Confirm the claiming of Rewards

• The claim will be submitted

• Wait for the reward claim to be processed

• The claim will be confirmed

Step 4: Updated Rewards Balance

• • In your ‘My Account’ section,

  • ‘Claim Rewards’ will now show ‘Zero’ Balance

  • ‘My Balance’ will show your account’s updated reward balance
